I grew up watching RuPaul's Drag Race with my dad and it quickly became my favorite show. I identify with the queens on the show because of my own background and experiences. RuPaul makes me feel like less of an outsider, that there are other people out there who have gone through what I have. Seeing myself reflected in the drag race contestants feels good and validating. We may not all share the same stories or backgrounds but we can still find common ground and relate to one another. That's something that I really love about this show!

I am always amazed by the looks they come up with and the performances they give. I am also impressed by how kind and supportive everyone is of one another. It really is a great show and I can't wait to watch more!
